Amy Wilson

Amy joined the Leach Pottery Studio as an Apprentice in September 2023. Originally from Cheltenham, Amy worked in science before moving to Cornwall to become a potter.

Day-to-day, Amy helps make Leach Standard Ware and outside of working hours she creates her individual work at the Pottery.

“It is such a privilege to train here with the Studio team. As an Apprentice I am enjoying the process of exploring different techniques and styles to find my own personal aesthetic.

“I aim to make pots that are both functional and beautiful, and I hope that the sense of enjoyment and satisfaction I feel when making translates to the same feelings for those using them.”
