Ellie Woods: Shop

We introduce a new collection of wood-fired work by Leach production potter, Ellie Woods.

Ellie has been exploring the unique surfaces, colours and effects that result from this type of firing. Pieces were thrown at the Leach Pottery, and fired in potter John Mackenzie’s wood-fired kiln. Poignantly, this work was part of the last firing, before John dismantled the kiln; he will be re-locating and updating his kiln to a new site in Cornwall soon.

Choose from a selection of tableware: from mugs, vases and teabowls to ovenware, such as these wonderful serving dishes; all imbued with the surface patina that is unique to wood-firing.
