In July 2021, Ellie joined the Leach Pottery Studio as an apprentice where she works with our highly skilled team of potters, learning the craft of making Leach Standard Ware.

Ellie’s first range of individual work includes some wonderful, original pieces: ornately carved, twisted, faceted forms, highly detailed textures and subtle use of glazes, such as tenmoku, shino, cobalt, chun and copper green. There are sake cups (guinomi), yunomi, lidded jars, mugs and vases.

Ellie also has work in the selling Exhibition: Studio_Space, currently on show in the Entrance Gallery.
