Most often Joanna’s pots are thrown. The porcelain pieces are then glazed with tenmoku, iron, white or ash glazes and stoneware pots with iron or ash. Joanna’s pieces include bowls, teabowls and sumptuous round vases in a selection of porcelain, red earthenware and stoneware.

Joanna uses colour, glaze and decoration to beautiful effect: splashes of vibrant slipware and exquisite pour decoration contrast with her elegant and minimal white pieces. Stunning work from a treasured, respected potter and long-standing member of the Leach Pottery.
