I've been a potter and have lived in Cornwall for most of my adult life, making earthenware for a long time before switching to stoneware in 2012. Domestic pottery is my first love and that direct connection between maker and user is something important for me.

My current making is largely wheel-thrown using Doble's clay and fired with wood. The pots are glazed with various local materials; such as granite, clays/muds and wood ashes and sometimes bought materials. I like to leave some exposed clay to interact with the flames.
