Knighton Mill Pottery : Ian Morrison
The pottery at Knighton Mill began as an idea in 2015. American born potter Ian Morrison began building the workshop after working for a year as a production potter at the prestigious Leach Pottery in St. Ives, Cornwall.
It took six months to get the first finished pots out of the new salt kiln, which was designed and built by Ian to produce the range you see here. The pots are a contemporary look at traditional salt glazed utilitarian wares, combined with the arts and crafts tradition which reflects Ian’s 17 years’ experience as an international potter.
All of this work is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. The pots displayed here were proudly made in Broad Chalke, Wiltshire.
