For over 40 years, Canadian film-maker Marty Gross has collected and restored films featuring Bernard Leach, the Leach Legacy, and the development of the Mingei (Folk Craft) Movement in Japan.

Marty, a frequent visitor to the Leach Pottery, made a significant contribution to the 2018 St Ives September Festival by showing a number of films he has recently been working on.
