Paintings from Pots!

Make a collection of painted collages using wax resist painting methods as you take inspiration from the dramatic black and white pots of Janet Leach.

View the pots made from black clay and white molochite before heading to your studio to make a series of experimental pieces. Paper, card, wax, paint, stenciling, and splatting will all be brought together to make paintings from pots.

This workshop is drop-in and can be engaged with across the open hours or a shorter period to suit the participants. This workshop will take place in the old pottery studios in the Leach Pottery museum, however, if the weather allows we will set up an outside studio so we can enjoy the sun!

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. All ages are welcome.

Should this workshop reach capacity we will encourage participants to explore the museum before returning to the workshop at a quieter time.
