The Leach Pottery presents a selling show of new pieces by Peter Rose, all created during his Leach Residency in the Old Pottery. The works will be fired in the Leach soda kiln - something of a rarity these days. The Pottery is on the verge of re-building one of its gas kilns, presenting the opportunity to use it for a soda firing before its decommissioning. Says Peter:

The mystery, intimacy, and deeper understanding of the process of creating with clay have never disappointed me. Ceramic traditions and cultures from around the world inspire me and transform my thinking and understanding of the process of making.
