German potter Esther Bahl worked at the Leach pottery as an International volunteer from February to September 2022.

During that time besides helping with the production of the Standard Ware range Esther produced her own range of wheel-thrown table ware such as teabowls, mugs, jars and bowls in simple, quiet shapes and decorations, using glazes including shino, tenmoku, ying ching and chun.
